Everything has been explained regarding Marianne's character, thank you.

BarbaraB's quote from Klingel Ray of Sensibility as relying on one's feelings explains the statement everything but prudent.

The difference of the definitions from the Regency Period "sensibility" to the modern "sensibility" explains why everything seem to contrast.
