But did it prompt him to act? Written by Barb JA (9/7/2009 12:09 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, John's promise, penned by Carol J.

He could have changed his mind and said, now I must give them at least some money, little gift of furniture, something to assist them, to keep my promise.

He has a chance to act, but doesn't. Will he in future chapters do something to honor his promise?
