Of course she means that she loves him as a son!   Written by Graciela (9/7/2009 12:58 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ch 3: What is love?, penned by janelt
Are you new?

And Marianne loves him as a brother.

"I shall very soon think him handsome, Elinor, if I do not now. When you tell me to love him as a brother, I shall no more see imperfection in his face, than I now do in his heart." (Ch. 4)

Dearest janelt, what ideas have you been admitting? ;-)

"Love" is not synonym with "sex". You can love your parents, your siblings, your children, even for your country, etc.
