I agree   Written by Crystal M (9/5/2009 6:14 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, John Dashwood and his stepmother, penned by Heather Leigh
Are you new?

I had the same feeling to that John was not raised at home with his step-mother. For she is a warm and caring person where as John is selfish and there something else about him that I can't figure out about him either. It never mention though he is raised by his mother side of the family for in my opinion he was raise by his mother side due to them having fortune and they probably want him raise in there society of richness. Miss Dashwoods are nothing like him in personality and share nothing in common as far as childhood intimacy as you said and I agree there.
