This is actually the fourth time (by my count, maybe I've missed one) we've seen this pattern:

- Eliza II (orphan)
- Marianne (no father)
- Marrying Miss Grey for her fortune (orphan) -- though I can't bring myself to pity Miss Grey...
- And now, forcing his confession on Elinor when there's no men around to bodily evict him as a stalker!
