... and here's the last post about Devon.

Coincidentally, I have spent the last two days in Dawlish re: work. You can imagine that I was thinking of S&S!

Harry Potter fans will recognise the name and Rowling took it from this town. (She attended Exeter university)

Since JA's time, there has been a lot of extra building in the Victorian era and the town now has some modern estates on the outskirts. The old cottages can still be found and there are some Regency gems among the Victorian villas.
