Many thanks to you all.   Written by Mandy N (10/19/2006 3:39 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Focus : Romanticism. The private & the public ; Letters., penned by Mandy N
Are you new?

Thankyou all respondents & readers of my Romanticism post. :)
Gushingly...,

I was concerned how appropriate the topic of Letters was, so this is indeed heartening.
BarbaraB, Rae I appreciate your feedback.

Tracy W, I also enjoyed your post. I like the Romantics' influence on C18th English Arts- but I agree the Romantics had no constructive ideas for society.
The idea forwarded on Lady Middleton- 'manners oblige her to provide the only assistance that Marieanne can benefit from'-
-I find I prefer 'London Lady M' to Lady M of Barton Park.
Maybe she could be more charitable like Mrs Jennings yet Marieanne did benefit from her practical assistance, close to social form.

Jan, your comments have given me much needed confidence with this topic.

Robbin, Reeba I so appreciate you two responsing to my posts each week. Reeba, your've explicated more from the Danby painting than I did.

LOL ! I'm at my wits end on this weeks' focus topic.
Why didn't I think to ask you lot for requests !?

Oh well, any requests for next week ?

:)
