What about the toothpick cases.   Written by Reeba (10/17/2006 1:40 p.m.)
Are you new?

Every time I think about it I can't help getting tickled by this information that JA gives us about Robert Ferrars.

It's not a diamond studded gold ring that he's buying for his elegant finger, nor an item of his, oh so fashionable, apparal.
No sir, it's a boring piece of hygiene like a soapdish.

I thnk JA had a good laugh when writing this.
Robert Ferrars has come to be associated with 'Toothpick-cases' to the reader rather than being associated with fashion or beauty.

The following is agreat LOL piece about him;

"the gentleman having named the last day on which his existence could be continued without the possession of the toothpick-case, drew on his gloves with leisurely care,..." *snort* :D
