Some smiley lines... :)   Written by Mandy N (10/11/2006 12:12 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Some - smile/chuckle/LOL lines., penned by Reeba
Are you new?

The themes of this week's chapters are quite sombre and grave.

So I'm glad to find some Lines I Like in Ch. 27 which gave me a smile.

'...in London, where the reputation of elegance was more important and less easily obtained,'

Trust Mr Palmer to greet the Dashwood girls in London with,

'I thought you were in Devonshire'.

Then, 'When do you go back again ?'

( My mother's neighbor greets me with this exact line.)

Of course, biggest smile is reserved to see you back Reeba. :-)

We can be sure Mr Palmer would say something droll. ;)

Speaking of droll, why not 'something so droll' (ch.26) as a FUP.
