A wonderful site :)   Written by Mandy N (10/8/2006 3:46 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Here's Plymouth, penned by Jan
Are you new?

Lovely watercolours of Plymouth Harbour !

In light of Prof. Hoskins remarks on the cultural life of Exeter and Plymouth, your idea why Edward was educated with
Mr Pratt near Plymouth makes sense.

As Plymouth inspired great painters, Edward may've picked up an understanding of the picturesque then formed his own ideas about the countryside.

Your contemporary photos taken near Exeter remind me alot of the scenery in S&S2.

I've visited Devon and your pictures, especially of the harbour invoke happy memories.

Many thanks. :)
