Taking Elinor's hair unawares   Written by Pennie (10/3/2006 10:28 p.m.)
Are you new?

At the beginning of this week's chapters, we believe that the hair in the ring belongs to Elinor. By the end of the week we are corrected in this belief, however until then, Elinor believes that Edward took her hair from her unknowingly. How could this happen? We have already seen Marianne cut a lock for Willoughby, but how could Edward do this without Elinor knowing?
