Mr Palmer and Politics   Written by Pennie (10/3/2006 10:13 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, The Palmers...and Willoughby., penned by Mandy N
Are you new?

I too had always taken the comment 'in opposition' to mean that Willoughby supported the opposing party. That actually could swing my opinion of Mr Palmer either way. On one hand he has integrity with his opinions by not associating with those who do not support values close to him. On the other hand he is cutting off potential friends due to political ambitions.

We are given no indication of which party Mr Palmer is running with, although Mrs Palmer seems to take it as a given that he will get into parliament, by talk of 'when' he is in parliament. Is Mr Palmer's seat a safe one can we imagine?
