I noticed what Sir John did..,   Written by Mandy N (10/3/2006 3:36 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Noticed two interesting things., penned by Reeba
Are you new?

I suspect in regard to Marieanne the superlative is oftenst used-
'This violent oppression of spirits continued the whole evening'
(ch.15)

Though Edward uses a superlative-
'What magnificient orders would travel from this family to London....What a happy day for booksellers, music-sellers, and print-shops !'
(ch.17)

And Sir John remarks 'Lucy is monstrous pretty'
(ch.21)

Btw, here's a LOL ! gem for you, ;)

'With the assistance of his mother-in-law, Sir John was not long in discovering that the name of Ferras began with an F'
(ch.18)
