Are you new?

He gets a mention in Stephen Arkin's introduction to the Wordsworth Classics edition (post-2000) for his open insolence to Mrs Jennings, whose response reveals the tolerant side of her character.

And, of course, Mr Palmer still has the second half of the book in which to exhibit.
