It does seem a shame that Mr. Palmer does not have a more amiable relationship with Charlotte but perhaps I feel that way because I only get small doses of Charlotte. She reminds me of her mother; I see the annoying aspects of their characters but their virtues outweigh their faults to me and in the end I cannot help but like them. :D
