Saying what Marianne wants to hear   Written by Pennie (9/29/2006 12:28 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Marianne's preserver - enter Willoughby! Lovely passage., penned by Reeba
Are you new?

But when read again one gets the impression that he is just saying *what Marianne wants to hear*.
