The Downs? Written by Ann2 (9/27/2006 2:00 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Geography question--downs, penned by Barbara

I checked and The Downs to the southeast of England are chalk limestone plateaus . That's why I imagine this to be broken ground, softly rolling where flat areas alternate with hills.

Somewhat adventurous to enter by carriage, byt I expect Willoughby has got a sportscar - some light, more easily manouvered curricle?
