Are you new?

It is good for her sense of independence that she does not avail herself of Sir John's carriage to visit wider afield. Is she not limiting the number of eligible bachelors her daughters might meet though. The chance to find friends who are more kindred spirits would also increase with a larger acquaintance.

Is she being rather 'nicer' than is wise?
