Flushed cheek and hollow eyed Col. :D   Written by Reeba (9/21/2006 4:09 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Thanks for your thoughts, penned by Pennie
Are you new?

I like the way Elinor has a dig at the expense of Marianne's sensibility when she's despising him for his ill health.

"Had he been only in a violent fever, you would not have despised him half so much. Confess, Marianne, is not there something interesting to you in the flushed cheek, hollow eye, and quick pulse of a fever?"
LOL!!!

Just imagine the col in this state. How vulnerable he seems 8}

Both JA and Elinor seem to be enjoying laughing at Marianne at times.
