No son   Written by Barbara (9/21/2006 11:12 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, There is an estate, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

I didn't say she had a son. I said if her husband's will or inheritance had been tied up that way and her husband had had to leave the money or property or whatever to a brother's son or a cousin or a grand nephew, etc. then primogeniture would be an issue. We don't know that the Jennings girls had no male Jennings cousins, for example.
