If you want to talk about JA other books than S&S, please post at Austenuations.

On the S&S board, you wondered whether it would be okay to mention a character from another JA novel 'just once'. However, in several posts you have mentioned several characters from other novels, and gone on about them at some length. I wanted to remind you that we have a forum for comparing the novels and it is not here.

As I also told you on the S&S board when you asked, certainly it is fine to bring up works of other writers as they shed light on this novel. However, if the discussion starts discussing the merits of these books or comparing these books to each other and not in reference to S&S, then that would be a library topic rather than a group read topic.
