Mrs. D writing two letters at that time, one of acceptance and one of thanks is that would it not be a terrible waste of paper when surely they can be combined into one letter...Thank you so much we will accept your kind offer. :D I think she only wrote one letter. I will say however, that Mrs. D is a woman who never saved in her life (Chapter 6) so wasting paper may not be a concern to her and second I do not know the proper way to write these type of letters back then; perhaps it was appropriate to do it in separate letters. ;D
