Are you new?

Marianne assumes that because her mother says there is an attachment, and Elinor and Edward spend time together, that they are lovers. However Elinor is not sure of Edward's feelings, and consequently not emotionally investing. Marianne is getting frustrated because they are not acting like lovers, when they are not necessarily even lovers!
