Indemnify the Malapropism: Act V   Written by Cheryl (3/8/2007 12:28 a.m.)
Are you new?

I'm sorry to see the last of Mrs Malaprop, I'll miss her.

"here's fine suicide, parricide, and simulation, going on in the fields! And Sir Anthony not to be found to prevent the antistrophe!"

"'twas he enveloped the affair to me."

"-but he can tell you the perpendiculars."

"Oh fy! It would be very inelegant in us:-we should only participate things."

"Why, fly with the utmost felicity"

"Come, girls! This gentleman will exhort us. Come, sir, you're our envoy - lead the way, and we'll precede."

"How could you intimidate us so?"

"Nay, no delusions to the past."

"O, he will dissolve my mystery!"

"Why, thou barbarous Vandyke - those letter are mine. - When you are more sensible of my benignity - perhaps I may be brought to encourage your addresses."

My favorite in this Act is "And Sir Anthony not to be found to prevent the antistrophe!" Yeah, we wouldn't want that Greek Chorus to get out of control, there. ;-)

What is yours?
