Poor Bob…   Written by Robbin (3/4/2007 9:13 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, The Devon-Monekroni, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

His trained curl has drooped in my estimation but I still admire his desire to polish himself. Those pictures are hilarious; I can easily see why caricaturist had a field day. In the colored picture the macaroni seems to be trying to reach his hat with sword or walking or hat-tipping stick—too funny. Sir Walter Elliot is only twenty in 1780 when the turn is for “agreeable negligence in dress” but negligence in dress, or the appearance of it would be a horror to his vanity and mirrors; he seems a bit macaroni-like to me. A pine-apple of a post JulieW! Is it possible Disdain should die while she hath such meet food to feed it as Macaroni? ;D
