And he's so oblivious to how Faulkland is taking his description of the "lively and entertaining" Julia. Keeping with the musical theme you mentioned, he can't remember what she sung except for "My heart's my own, my will is free." LOL! It just sets Faulkland into a tailspin. It's a very funny scene and I can just picture Acres prattling, Faulkland spitting, and Absolute standing between them, egging them both on. Fabulous stuff. ;-)
