My attempt to indemnify...and more   Written by Skylar B (2/28/2007 2:28 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Indemnify the Malapropism: Act I, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

I think these MAY be additional malapropisms:

"Sir Anthony, you surely speak LACONICALLY!"
(Did she mean ironically?)

"Had she been one of your ARTIFICIAL ones, I should never have trusted her."
(Did she mean artful?)

I will try my hand at a few of these:

illiterate
obliterate

extirpate
extricate

misanthropy
misanthrope

supercilious
superficial

orthodoxy
orthography

reprehend
comprehend

invocations
invitations?

malevolence
benevolence

locality
loquacty

My favorites are "that she might reprehend the true meaning..." and forfeit my "malevolence."
