The malapropisms are hysterical. I found it particularly funny in Mrs. Malaprop's speech regarding girls and learning that not only are there 9 malapropisms, but that within that speech is included:

". . . that she might not misspell, and mispronounce words so shamefully as girls ususally do; and likewise that she might reprehend the true meaning of what she is saying."
