Fascinating!   Written by Cheryl (2/26/2007 11:04 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Why it bombed...., penned by JulieW
Are you new?

I'm trying to picture the scene - the group of hecklers in the corner gallery, come apurpose to interrupt the play, the drunken Sir Anthony leering at his prospective daughter-in-law, the fruit being thrown at Sir Lucius and the actor stopping the play to complain to the audience - I bet it was an exciting place to be! I'm sure the audience memebers talked about it for years to come. Funny.

Though, I still would have liked to have heard Mrs Malaprop's naughty double entrendres. ;-)
