The Rivals is a five act play and we will be spending two days on each act starting on Wednesday. Julie and I thought we'd spend the two days prior to that setting the play in historical context and giving some background information. Fair game topics these first two days is Sheridan biographical info, Sheridan's Preface and the two Prologues.

Julie has done a ton of research - as she always does - and has kept Myretta busy uploading images for the Group Read. I am looking forward to playing the Mrs Malaprop game and laughing with you all. I also recommend the DVD advertised to the right of the board. This is the Bristol Old Vic's production of The Rivals. I've already seen it and laughed all through it.
