Last week, BarbB mentioned that you used a very modern term when describing how Kendall swindled Mr. Bingley, Sr.; creative accounting.

I noticed other modern terms and your common use of contractions.

Myretta noted that you told this story in your own voice.

My question: why did you decide to use "your own voice", rather than imitate the language and sentence structure of JA or the Regency period?
