Although I recommended Pride and Prescience as the group read, events intruded and I lurked through the group read. But I did enjoy it.

Linda, you did a fantastic job keeping the pace of the book througout the read. If possible, it became even more interesting through discussion.

And Carrie, it was a delight to read a sequel in which the characters were treated with respect (I particularly loved Jane and Bingley's hiring practices) but in which the author uses her own voice rather than trying to write like Jane Austen (an impossibility, as we all know).
