Science v. Prescience   Written by BarbB (3/30/2004 11:42 a.m.)
Are you new?

I have completed the book already so I won't discuss plot - no spoilers here! I read it over the weekend because I couldn't put it down. But I wanted to know how other people felt about magic, the paranormal, etc.

Personally, I tend to be more like Mr. Darcy as per Carrie Bebris. I am inclined to believe that most things can be explained scientifically. I don't believe in ghosts, witchcraft, etc. but I do take some things on faith alone, making me more like Darcy than Elizabeth in the novel.

Who do you feel you are more like - Lizzy, willing to accept that some things just cannot be explained by science or Darcy, everything can be explained except for G-d?
