] I am so suspect of Parrish that I wonder if she really scratched him or is this something that he devised to justify sending her away to an asylum; shudder!

Yes, the fact that he was stating that she had scratched him like that made me suspect that maybe he did it himself, or someone else did it to him and this was maybe just a convenient excuse to make her look more mad?

This GR board has made me suspect Parrish whereas I think if I were reading it on my own, all my suspicions would just be pinned on Hurst, Kendall, and Randolph. But with so many suspects, who's the real troublemaker?!
