] Is Elizabeth's imagination running away with her or is it possible that Mr. Hurst is so desparate that he may consider doing away with Charles and Caroline so that Louisa can inherit the Bingley fortune?

I did wonder this too. The more I read about the way Hurst is portrayed though--I am not so sure he would have it in him to plan such an elaborate scheme. At least not on his own??? With his love of the sherry decanter and naps--would he able to keep his wits about him to pull it off?
