]I do not believe he is trying to make a charm that protests.

I didn't think so either. My mind immediately conjured up voodooism, particularly since he's from New Orleans. I've read stories where in order for a voodoo doll to work, something belonging to the person must be attached to the doll.

It scared me to think that Parrish might be collecting different hair samples for this purpose, and then he'd have the entire group within his control - if he really was going to use the hair locks for voodoo purposes.

Oh, this book has my mind thinking all sorts of mysterious and devious things. I see shadows in every corner. I love it! :)
