Not off the mark..   Written by DeborahAnn (3/25/2004 2:06 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, A Close Look At Mr. Hurst, penned by Tori Marie
Are you new?

] I'm beginning to think that if Parrish is up to no good, he may have used Hurst's weaknesses to worm his way into the family. If this is true, perhaps Parrish is requiring further aid from Mr. Hurst, using blackmail or some other means to force his continued cooperation.

] What do you all think? Possible? Or totally off the mark?

I had similar thoughts about Hurst. I don't know if he is "smart" enough to be a part of the scheme. If he is a heavy gambler--wonder if he is heavily in debt to and to whom??

So far there is seems to attempts on Bingley's life and Caroline seems to be losing touch with reality--but has anything really happened to Louisa? Both Hurst's seem clueless. If they were in charge of the Bingley estate--might they be easy pickings?
