I was wonder which character would possess the prescience - as mentioned in the title. It appears to be LIzzy in this chapter - she seemed to know what was going to happen before it happened (or right as it was happening). She seems more intuitive in this book than she was in P&P, don't you think? I liked how the author used Darcy's voice as the voice that called to her (he's always her hero -- ours, too!).
] And Caroline is missing again! How is it that such a devoted husband cannot keep up with his wife? Very suspicious.
Yes, what is going on with Caroline? I never really liked her enough to care about her, but Bebris is doing a good job of changing my mind. I find myself worried about her and wondering what the heck is going on with her. Who is gaslighting her? IS she being drugged, blackmailed, hypnotized??? It boggles the mind! Parrish is a very suspicious character, too (IMHO).
] Louisa Hurst does not show a great deal of concern for her sister. Could she be embarrassed by Caroline's apparent madness?
Louisa goes back and forth in her behavior/show of concern toward Caroline. I believe she truly cares for her sister, but is also concerned with appearances. Louisa is even more of a snob in this book than she was in P&P (if that's possible!).
