What was the cargo that was lost, then found? I can't believe this is purely a money matter that Kendall is so worked up about. I wonder if it has something to do with jewels (joyau), and perhaps the runes or symbolism of the rings are clues or maps? What is Kendall really looking for amongst Bingley's papers?
