] He presses every advantage with Bingley in a weakened state.

Poor Mr Bingley, just now he had suffered an accident and suddenly Mr Kendall want to speak with him.
I think Kendall seemed to be in need of money. What else would justify this hurry craving of this cargo?
My first thoughts at the end of this chapter, how Kendalls pride must be hurt, contradict with my thoughts in chapter 15. It appears as if the storm changed into a most welcome circumstance. (How sad he doesn`t found what he was looking for. ;o))
