Double Ring Ceremonies   Written by Tori Marie (3/24/2004 1:23 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Here it is - chapter six, penned by LaurieC
Are you new?

I have no numbers or concrete facts to back this up, but it seems to me that men's wedding rings would be a rare thing. But if I must give proof, how about this reaction of Lizzy's, upon seeing Parrish's ring in Chapter 11:

"Her chest tightened at the sight of it--a reaction, she supposed, to the strong attachment it symbolized. Double-ring ceremonies were rare."

I think it's safe to say that the author wants us to realize that Mr. Parrish's wearing a wedding ring is something out of the ordinary. :-)
