OK, *disclaimer*, by this point in the book, I may just be...jumpy, wanting to read too much into everything.
That said, I found Parrish's interest in Bingley's intention to purchase an estate in the near future (ch. 10) - and his suggestion that they tour prospects together - slightly odd, given their relatively short acquaintance.
Of course, it's not odd at all if we consider the Bingleys' liquid assets to be the main object here. I wonder if there will be other delays presented to prevent Bingley purchasing.
