Wedding rings   Written by Mary Frances 2 (3/23/2004 8:37 a.m.)
Are you new?

It seems to me that much emphasis is being placed on Mr. and Mrs. Parrish's wedding rings.

Elizabeth notices them early on at the wedding ceremony. Caroline plays with hers during Mrs. Bennet's visit. And then Elizabeth notices Mr. Parrish's ring again in Chapter 11, noting that double ring ceremonies are rare. Could the sunburst design be somehow related to Professor Randolph and his watch that Elizabeth has also noticed?
