Such Un-Caroline-like behavior   Written by Geri-Lynn (3/22/2004 2:17 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, sleepwalking.., penned by DeborahAnn
Are you new?

While I am really enjoying spending more time with these beloved characters,I'm having a difficult time reconciling the Caroline Bingley (Parrish) in this novel with the Caroline we love to hate from P&P.

I don't buy that she would be able to rope a guy into marriage so quickly on the heels of the double Bennet wedding to Darcy and Bingley. Also, what "gentleman" would break away from an engagement only to have a whirlwind wedding to another woman. I am all astonishment! Would Caroline be accepting of such a man?

Caroline's behavior is so completely unlike her - that I'm waiting for Lizzy to discover one of those Invasion of the Body Snatchers' pods in Netherfield somewhere!
