Miss Kendall and Hecate   Written by Melanie Z (3/22/2004 5:35 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Chapter 7, penned by Linda
Are you new?

] Mr Darcy’s teasing seems a bit out of character to me.

As for me also, but I like their conversations alltogether.

] The last time she’d seen Juliet Kendall, the woman hardly appeared disposed to wish the new Mrs. Parrish joy. She wondered at the jilted Juliet’s real motive for suggesting the outing.

Yes, what was her purpose? Would Miss Kendall reveal something to Caroline - but if so, why after the wedding?

] Losing control of the horse seems significant.

Especially if the name of the horse is Hecate :o)
(By the way: Hecate is a goddess, helper of people as well as mistress of magic, witches and ghosts.)

And in reference to my sceptical opinion about Parrish: Would such a devoted husband prefer to retire in his own chamber, in the wedding night? (Chapter 6)
