I blame Lady Anne Written by nan duval (6/23/2007 1:29 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Chapter 58 Quotes..., penned by Lila

who was Lady C's sister; I agree with what everyone has said about the ideas of noblesse oblige in relation to social inferiors but I think the snobbery of Lady C may have been shared by Lady Anne & passed on to her son.
