Why eight Written by Mary B (6/23/2007 12:37 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Chapter 58 Quotes..., penned by Lila

While girls were educated at home, boys were sent away to school at a very young age. Is it possible Darcy was sent away at age 8 and treated better than his peers by headmasters and teachers because of his family's wealth and position?
