Why is it Darcy's job to do this? Written by Karen 2L (6/22/2007 8:15 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I agree with you Ramya..., penned by Lila

Why cannot he simply tell Bingley -- in April -- that he may have been mistaken about Jane's feelings and let Bingley decide what he wants to do? Why can't he tell Bingley that he met Elizabeth in Kent and something she said made him realize that he could have been wrong?
