in consequence of the missive, Does Elizabeth ever love as puppy-love?, penned by Tracy W
loved any man as in a full,long lasting relationship. When she talked with her aunt, Mrs. Gardiner, during Christmas she told Mrs. Gardiner about poor Jane and Bingley. She described Mr. Bingley's behavior as inattentive to other people, wholly engrossed by her (Jane). He did not ask other ladies to dance and even did not answer EB when she asked him a question. Then she asks her aunt-" Is not general incivility the very essence of love?" If a sympton of true love is rudeness, then I question the maturity of that love.
