Are you new?

I agree that during that conversation, Darcy is looking forward to the day when Elizabeth will visit Rosings as his wife, but he seems to be taking it completely for granted that Elizabeth is just waiting to say yes. There is no sense that he is trying to *persuade* her that marrying him would be a good idea, and persuasion is the essence of courting, IMO. ;-)
